Fighting Poverty with Reproductive Health

Some facts about the world we live in:

FPA International Development (FPAID) works to raise awareness in New Zealand of population and development issues and increase commitment to sexual and reproductive health programmes, including family planning.  Established in 1996, FPAID is a unit within the Family Planning Association of New Zealand.  We work primarily in Asia and the Pacific.

Holding the Vision

FPAID is committed to the reproductive rights and goals of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and the Millennium Development Goals.

FPAID is funded by the Packard Foundation and the Hewlett Foundation.  We also receive some specific project funding from the New Zealand Agency for International Development and donations from individual sponsors.
