Family Planning International is an advocacy and projects unit. We base our approach on the concept that action needs to happen both at the policy and funding level, as well as within communities.
Advocacy
To us, advocacy means working to create healthy public policy and environments that support sexual and reproductive well-being for all.
Our advocacy work involves raising awareness and supporting action on international population and development issues, particularly sexual and reproductive health. We do this work here in New Zealand, across our region - the Pacific, and globally.
Projects
Family Planning International's approach to implementing projects is that we prefer to work alongside colleagues and organisations working for their communities. Our projects aim to advance the sexual and reproductive well-being of people in Pacific countries. More information on our projects can be found here.
