Family Planning International is a unit within Family Planning that promotes sexual and reproductive health and rights, enabling people to enjoy respectful sexual relationships and to create healthy families.
Family Planning International (FPI) works as an advocate to promote the importance of population and development activities in reducing poverty. We work with partners to implement projects, predominantly in the Pacific.
The Director of International Development is a member of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive of Family Planning.
To be successful in this role you will have:
•A commitment to promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights.
•A qualification and/or extensive experience in international development, with a focus on the Pacific region.
•Experience in managing and supporting staff.
•An ability to think strategically to proactively direct the unit according to changing trends in international development.
