Five women die every day in our Pacific neighbourhood from almost entirely preventable problems in pregnancy and childbirth.

To raise awareness of this tragedy Family Planning International in association with Radio Active hosted the 'Safe and Sound' concert on 22 October at the San Francisco Bathhouse in Wellington. 

Fabulous local women artists, Lisa Tomlins, Tesa Rain, Iva Lamkum, Bella Kalolo and DJ Ayesha, performed to a great crowd who were treated to an amazing night of music. And all for a great cause.
