Family Planning International works with colleagues and partners to implement projects which aim to improve access to sexual and reproductive health information and services.

To achieve successful outcomes, we use the knowledge, expertise and insights of partners and people living in the communities we work with.

Some of the issues we have worked on include:

• HIV and AIDS;
• environmental sustainability;
• male involvement in sexual and reproductive health;
• reproductive tract infections;
• advocacy.

In general, we take a capacity-strengthening approach, working to expand on the strengths that colleagues and partners have, as well as support them to address problems they want to change.

Current Projects

• We work in Cambodia with the Rural Economic Development Association to provide home based care for women living with HIV;
• We work in Papua New Guinea with PNG Family Health Association and Help Resources, to educate and encourage men to be better partners.
• We also have a project on strengthening Pacific advocacy on sexual and reproductive health.
